How often have you heard commentators and on air presenters being interrupted by their own mobile phone.  Not a ring,  but the sound of the microwave signal seeking the tower.  Not a big problem,  but irritating as you receive the shot of the ‘wave through your audio channel.

It its turned up – your sub woofer growls and bounces around.  Embarrassing.  Kind of dumb when you’re on live TV.

Its just that incredible thing where you’re wondering the streets of Johannesburg and next moment – SHAZAM your phone receives a notification about DJ Thrombosis performing not 5 blocks from your shack.   So who gave my number to the DJ?   Was it the security guard at the accountants?    And how about my friend who’s just had R20 000.00 plundered from her account using mobile banking facilities (eg, pin number SMS’d to you?).   Who’s liable?    Read the fine print.  You are.
